Complicated technology should be used to create the most minimal outcome. Only these minimal outcomes can become iconic.

Immersion is a project that records video of people “through the screen” as they play games, use the internet and watch TV.

Generation ZZZ

Generation Z will be able to manipulate their reality. Games such as second life will allow them to customise large parts of what, to them, is real. Outside of work and school and work, they will expect to be able to be who they want, where they want, and even when they want. They're contexts of reality will change.

They'll expect to be connected most of the time, through all kinds of media, though less so physically.
Super independant - Having grown up as an only child of busy parents, and with some friends they will never meet, they will expect would I might call a connected independence. They will also consequently be used to being showered with expensive material gifts.

Generation Z will also be the most environmentally aware generation yet. Having grown up in a media environment focused on climatic change, and with easy access to this information via the internet, a carbon conscience will be heavily ingrained.

They will also be used to being, and indeed expect to be, multitasking constantly. Research has shown that an average Generation Z child can take in an advert on the television and read a page of text at the same time. Networking takes place at the same time as all other practical fuctions.

Generation Z is also, unfortunately, likely to become more obese due to a lack of physical excercise. Recreation for Generation Z, even now, takes place mostly in a virtual environment. Inernet gaming (at 65%) follows only TV in their prefered forms of recreation. Most enter virtual environments like second like regularly.

They will also invent a whole new language, with no requirement to see most words written in full.
